Elder Durrell McCray
Elder Durrell McCray became aware of the Apostolic doctrine and conformed to its instructions through an encounter with a colleague that clarified the Word of God more precisely. He is a man of integrity, and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with sincerity and truth and to use the endowment of the anointing to deliver souls from the power of despair.
Elder McCray served faithfully under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop G.E. Dobbin, first as a Sunday teacher, Deacon, licensed minister, ETA training instructor, Sunday School field worker, volunteer Prison Sponsor and a local church Elder for over 17 years. His willingness to cooperate, support the leader’s vision and work positively alongside others became apparent throughout his tenure. He has been ministering in some capacity or another for over 25 plus years ranging from home bible studies, life skills development with teens and mentoring at-risk youth. In 2016 he became the “Founder and Pastor” of Safe-Haven Apostolic Church which is incorporated with the State of North Carolina and joined the PCAFI organization in 2020. He has been married to his lovely wife Cindy McCray since August 23, 2020.
